What is your impression of the sixties era?
My impression of the sixties era is that it is overall a fun and amusing era. The style of clothing was colourful and made each person stand out; nobody cared what others thought of them. The music was very much upbeat and positive; this would have very much influenced the attitude of the listeners; meaning that the sixties overall was a funky and care-free era.
Where does this come from?
Watching 'Austin Powers' gives me this impression because the cast wear the type of clothing that was popular in the sixties; giving me an idea of what was worn. The funky over-the-top hairstyles gave me the impression of individuality and expression. There is comedic value in Austin Powers to, which gave me the impression of a care-free and fun attitude.
